'Some of Us Will Have to Sit Up Front with the Lutefisk' cartoon

Title: 'Some of Us Will Have to Sit Up Front with the Lutefisk' cartoon
Submitted by: Snoadwiis
Description: Cartoon by Minnesota cartoonist Ed Fischer depicting Vikings aboard a longship, with one remarking, “Look, some of us will have to sit up front with the lutefisk.” The cartoon combines Viking imagery with lutefisk, a food strongly associated with Norwegian-American and Scandinavian-American culture in the Upper Midwest. We can assume that it would have smelled pretty strongly!
