Photo of the 1912 German edition of the Poetic Edda in two volumes: Edda I, Heldendichtung & Edda II, Götterdichtung. This edition was curated by Felix Genzmer,a German scholar specialising in law and philology. Genzmer joined the NSDAP in 1937 and actively supported it.
